Mountain's Edge is a brand new community that strives to provide it's residents with a sense of depth and character, a genuine sense of community. The parks, the trails, the walls, the signs, the homes, even the coffee shop contribute to a very genuine sense of place. The community setting itself, this spectacular desert canyon, has not been thoughtlessly assaulted to make way for development. In fact, substantial time, care and money have been devoted to restoring native landscape to areas where human presence has eroded the natural enviroment. Exploration Peak, the mountain park at the main entrance to Mountain's Edge, was re-vegetated with nearly 10,000 native yucca and creosote plants.
