Nestled among the majestic landscape where the desert meets the foothills of the Sheep Mountain Range, Aliante offers residents quality design, amenities, architecture and master planned living. It is the first true master planned community in this part of the valley and rivals all other master planned communities in the greater Las Vegas metropolitan area. The 18-hole, 6,900-yard, par-72 championship municipal golf course, designed by the award winning golf course architectural firm of Gary Panks Associates, of Scottsdale, Arizona. Family fun is the name of the game at the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park adjacent to the Information Gallery. A man-made lake with waterfalls, in a scenic setting, creates the initial experience. A world of discovery awaits kids in the interactive dinosaur discovery area and the water play area. An outdoor stage and ramada, soccer fields, tennis courts and a volleyball stadium complete the park amenities.

Two additional community parks, a natural arroyo perfectly suited to the outdoor enthusiast, and over 24 miles of lit concrete trails round out the variety of leisure time activity options. There are also many facilities outside of the community including, but not limited to, banking, places of worship, health services, libraries, a post office, DMV, and a new city recreation and aquatic complex.

In addition to the 1,165 acres of residential development, commercial development of 100 acres will provide shopping, dining and entertainment venues within the community. Three schools are planned for the community of Aliante, two elementary schools and a middle school, slated to be built by the Clark Country School District within the boundaries of Aliante. Theron H. and Naomi D. Goynes Elementary School opened in August 2005. Brian Cram middle school is also zoned for students within Aliante.
